| SOPOR KALEY MOUNTAIN |
| Is a historical and cultural tourist spot located at Chambak commune, Prek Prasab district, Kratie province, along west side of the Mekong River, 45km to the south of the provincial town. Visitors can go to the foot of the mountain through a laterited road about 800 meters from the main road, then continue climbing through 800 concrete steps up to the top of mountain where an ancient pagoda is 100 meter high. Tourists can enjoy the views of rural and farm areas and the Mekong River. |
| According to a legend, Sopor Kaley Mountain took the name after crocodile Sopor Kaley, who was defeated by Nen Thun. When it died, it turned to be the mountain called Sopor kaley. |
| CHHLONG DISTRICT AND PHNOM PREAH TOURIST SITE |
| Chhlong town is located along the southern part of the Mekong River, 32km from the provincial town. The road from the kratie fork at chhlong, one is the National Road 73 to the south through Dambe district connecting the Natoinal Road 7. The other goes along the river down to Krouch Chhmar district of Kampong Cham province . |

| Phnom Preah is a historical and cultural resort, 1km west of Chhlong town. Phnom Preah is small 30 meter high mountain. It has a small hermitage and a big Buddhist statue that the people from different places visit and make wishes from. |
| It is said that big Buddhist statue was made of Tatrao wood floating along the Mekong River from Laos and got stuck at a port of a pagoda now know as Seila Ty Chhlong. Laymen and laywomen at the pagoda took the statue and kept him at the pagoda for worship. Later, the might of the statue told the residents in their dreams that moving the statue to a hill behind that village would bring good health and prosperity. Then, the people did. Since then the villagers have called that hill ‘Phnom Preah’ |
| In addition to Phnom Prech Tourist Site in Chhlong district, Prey Koki, bordered Phnom Prech to the north, has two French-architectural buildings, a 120 year-old ancient Khmer house with 100 column, a Chhlong canal, war-damaged Chhlong paper factory and modern and beautiful Chhlong High School.
